Luxury Fashion

Luxury Fashion is a more affordable branding, it is an alternative to Couture. Luxury fashion came around in the late 19th century, therefore it is a fairly new fashion market when ready-to-wear collections were created.

It is still high end which are priced high enough so people who can not afford couture are able to feel apart of the elite fashion economy. Its targeted more at a younger generation, more of a social class that earns up to 100,000 per year with 76% of these people aged 35-54 a social 'A' class.

It is managed by many different groups china being one of the largest consumers to date. Luxury fashion has a winder entry range, designers like Prada, Burberry, Gucci, Hermes and Louis Vuitton are known as luxury fashion with different branded price levels. However 99% of LV is fake and at the end of every financial year they burn there leftovers of product so nothing is copied.

Other Luxury brands - Saint Laurent Paris, Oscar De La Renta, Tom Ford and Alexandra McQueen.

Luxury products are prices are high enough to be part of an 'elite target market' .
